Abstract

This study aims, within the framework of Critical Theory, to offer two contributions able to point out practices to a critical legal education, from the works of Roberto Lyra Filho and Paulo Freire. Lyra Filho, in this sense, provides elements for a dialectical approach able to cope with the dogmatic and jus-positivist stance still prevailing in the Brazilian Law Schools. On the other hand, it is resorted to Paulo Freire‘s pedagogy in order to support the Law Professors emancipatory orientation praxis.
