Abstract

The need to globally preserve the environment presents itself as a difficult task. The awareness of the environmental protection emerged as people began to realize that humankind's survival depends on a balanced and preserved environment. Despite all the concern about the environment, the need for economical development is unquestionable. Thus, in order to conciliate both, it is necessary to create rules that protect the environment at the exact extent that the economic development does not harm the ecosystem. Therefore, this is a real basic human right, a right for human beings to live in a healthy and balanced environment, a right that knows no borderlines and must be respected by all.
